Hello, I’m Ben. I started Bayside Bolts & Steel over 35 years ago here in Mornington and our customers come to us from across Melbourne as well as the peninsula. We’re an experienced team who know a lot about everything to do with steel. Whether you’re a builder, a fabricator, a tradie, a hobbyist, or someone walking in with a sketch on your phone, we aim to be helpful with honest advice based on many years of experience.
We’ve spent decades on the Mornington Peninsula supplying steel, bolts, hardware, and custom fabrication for projects of every kind. From detailed architectural builds to quick repairs, from marine work to big commercial jobs, our approach stays the same: listen carefully, solve problems creatively, and make things properly.
Our workshop has the kind of hands-on atmosphere you only get from a lifetime around steel. We have an eye for shape, structure, and possibilities, the kind of creative thinking that turns a tricky idea into a real solution and practical solution. People often come in unsure of what they need, and walk out saying, “Thanks mate, that makes sense now.” That’s the part we love the most.
